Tatte has been one of my favorite finds since I've moved to Boston. It just hits the spot when you need it most. It's cute, it's trendy, and has a nicely decorated rustic aesthetic.
As basic as it sounds, I'm a big fan of the avocado toast. It is served on two large slices of sourdough bread and comes with two fried eggs. Very filling! Other delicious finds include the BLAT and fig/prosciutto sandwiches. I'm a big fan of their coffee, it isn't bitter. If you're feeling really crazy, get a maple latte. Grab one of their pastries to go, also very delicious.
One downside of Tatte is that it is alwaysss packed and there is limited seating. Not a ton of outlets if you want to get work done. I guess you know its good though. I wouldn't recommend coming here with a larger group of people. -

How do you feel been RUSHED by the counter staff when you choosing pastry when there is NO LINE behind you? YES, terrible, that is what happen to me today.
There was a female COUNTER staff with light blue crochet head band wrapped around her head. She was rushing me when I was choosing pastry. I just step in the store for like 1 min, I was looking at the pastry. She said it out loud that she can help next one on line. I was still taking my time to checking cookies, then she didn't help me on picking up cookie or ask me anything I want from the pastry section. She just stand front of the POS shout "HEY" rudely to me. I checked around, nobody is behind me are waiting to be served. I was just taking my time, anything wrong with it that the specific staff member have to hold this type of attitude towards me? I don't think I deserve to be treated that way. I am a regular, work blocks away. I love tatte the brand itself, and third street location is the nearest one for me. But some how I feel deeply disappointed and mistreated. -

"Tatte, may I please have some more?" is what you'll be asking every staff member right after your first bite of whatever you order.
Tatte Bakery is a local Boston chain, but rest assured, each location makes the food and drinks fresh to order with seasonal ingredients. My friends and I were lucky enough to snag two tables at the popular brunch hour. Tatte wanted to keep her restaurants on the small side for that "homey" feeling without realizing how popular they'd become, so you may have to wait patiently for an indoor table during the colder months.
But what you order will be melt in your mouth heaven. I ordered the ham and fried egg tartine, which came out hot and beautifully presented. Seriously, Tatte has time to cook AND provide a nicely laid-out plate. I'm impressed. The tartine was phenomenal, and the flavors worked very well together.
My friend ordered shakshuka, which is one of Tatte's signature dishes. You could easily share one--they're some of the larger plates on the menu served with house made bread. Yum.
If Tatte could cater my breakfast every morning, I'd hire her in two seconds. Visit this location or one of the other ones around the city. You won't be disappointed. -

I love Tatte's because it reminds me of Israel, but lately some of the items I've had have not been great. The challah toast that comes with some items is very buttery, and tastes like it's been pretoasted, and the Jerusalem bagel is not good (very chewy, and not soft like how I'm used to). They have nice cappuccinos, but I don't love the pretty desserts they have (like the halva mousse). It's very rich, and pricey! I also think their shakshuka is not great compared to others I've had.
Items I do love from Tatte's: their breakfast sandwich with poached eggs on a croissant, their muesli, and the halva brownies.
I want to try their Halloumi salad, which I've heard from two friends is great! -

We came here the last day we visited Boston on the Memorial Day weekend and we think Tatte has the best brunch in Boston.
We highly recommended to order Shakahuka and it was good to have something warm in the morning.
